This seems like bad training or no training as a puppy. It's the easiest thing in the world to get a dog not to bite if you have them as a puppy. I just give them treats and wait until they lighten up wiht their jaw pressure as a pup then they can get the treat out of my hand once they lighten up the foce, and then lifting the food bowl off the ground until they sit and wait then give them food. Those two things get a dog that just doesn't bite people. If you are going to get a dog do some research and training. I've had tons of dogs but my first one as an adult was a rottweiler and I purchased books on em, and training before I got him, and this was pre internet. It's amazing people get pets and don't do any research, and put no effort in.

Pitbulls are different then any other dog I think. in the way they have a will and determination when they get into fight/attack mode, the tenacity, and no off button is unlike other dogs, any breed I think. Obviously people will bring up canne corsos and whatnot, but I think pits have the most just like drive once they flip there is no off button. Dogo's maybe too.
